My Review:

The packaging is cute and the cream comes in a sturdy white tube with a pink label and a silver cap. It’s attractive and also very convenient to use. The nozzle dispenses is nice and easy to use. The cream is thick but takes time to blend. It stays for about 3-4 hours and gives a semi matte finish without using any compact.  

The coverage is decent. My face needs a lot of coverage (for blemishes and spots) other than around the eyes and this cream does the job of evening out my skin tone very well though I am not sure if it really lightens the skin. It is not a moisturizer so you have to use a good moisturizer if your skin is dry otherwise it is perfect for oily skin as it give matte finish. 

The biggest issue is that it comes in only one shade, which is made for medium to fair skin. So if you have a darker skin tone (Like me) give this cream a miss or you may end up looking unnaturally white or grey patches or you can use this as a highlighter.

There are lots of BB creams and CC cream in the market now a day. After my ponds BB creams i jump to get the Lakme CC Cream in the shade Bronze.

Product:

Cream has a pleasant lemongrass fragrance which is not so much bothering and as well not long lasting. The cream oxidizes when it sets so it becomes a shade darker.

Cream is thick and moisturizers. It takes about  2 to 3 mins to set. I used a moisturizer on my face before applying the cream. As the cream oxidizes and becomes a shade darker it also changes the texture and becomes more dewy, more natural skin like. It makes the skin looks fresh, dewy and imparts a very healthy glow. After the cream sets on the skin, the dry areas don’t look that obvious. But, when I touch my face, I still feel that stickiness as if the product has just sitting on skin without being absorbed into skin. At this point I feel like applying some face powder to get rid of oiliness.

The coverage is light to medium. It fades the pigmentation to some extent; it does not cover dark circles and any sort of scars.

It stays upto 3-4 hrs and then it gets a little oily on T-zone. For better coverage apply a face compact.

Pros:

• Becomes patchy when layered for extra coverage

Final words:

The texture of the Lakme CC Cream is beyond amazing and the coverage is pretty good too BUT the shade selection leaves a LOT to be desired. If neither of the shades matches your skin tone – and there’s a good chance neither will – I honestly don’t think this is worth buying because the medium coverage of the cream makes the shade mismatch more noticeable. For me, it’s better to stick to something that’s tried and tested, and looks natural on you!

I absolutely adore the texture, coverage and finish of this CC cream and that makes it a winner for me.

VLCC Mud Face Pack all skin type SKIN DEFENSE review

Face packs are always good for every skin type. As I have oily skin which tends to go extremes during summers :( these packs help keeping the oiliness under control, I tend to use them once in a week. while I visited a store I spotted this one and it mentioned mud pack which are said to be great for oily skin. This brand is very popular due to natural ingredients and it is a very unique mud face pack and I love using it quite frequently.

My Review

The pack comes in a attractive white plastic bottle with a secure lid to prevent any product leakage. Although the packaging is good but the mouth of the bottle is quite narrow and hence there will be difficulty removing the product when it will come to an end. The pack is ready to use which is a relief for many as it is hassle free.

The pack inside looks almost like a foundation .It has a medium thick smooth and creamy mousse like consistency which spreads very easily. You can apply a thin or a thick layer as per your preference and it feels cooling on application. But it has a strong ayurvedic sandalwood fragrance, which was quite annoying the first time but will be a turn off for many especially for people with sensitive noses, but after using it a few times u get hold of it. And also only key ingredients list is mentioned.

After applying the face pack it dries quickly within 8-15 minutes depending on how thick you apply. It comes of easily with water. It leaves my skin feeling very soft, smooth and supple and balances it really well and skin stays same for a day. Even though I have oily skin majority of the mud masks leave my skin feeling dry and I have to follow up with a moisturizer, but not with this one. It takes away excess oil without drying my skin at all and my skin feels very smooth to touch and hence I feel it is suitable for all skin types year round. It did not irritate my skin. After removing it my skin felt very clean and bright and the brightness lasted for a few hours, just like the regular face packs.

My Experience

The product comes in a squeezy, plastic white tube with a green flip-open cap. The consistency is medium, not thick and not running just right!! It spreads and gets absorbed in my skin very well without leaving any traces of stickiness or white cast. It leaves skin well hydrated, super soft and smooth. It smells all herbal predominantly of  Neem. The cream did not break me out at all. Coming to the claims, it fulfills some but misses out on some.  It did not diminish my scars or pigmentation as such after almost 2 weeks of usage. But yes, It instantly brightens up the face and makes skin tone appear more even.  So, I like it as a day cream. Sensitive skin types can use this as it is totally chemical free. This should suit all skin types barring the super oily skin type. I have a oily skin and have not experienced any bothersome oiliness with this cream.  However, one sad part is that this cream doesn’t have any SPF so, there is no skipping the sunscreen.

My Review

Biotique's Bio Milk Baby Cream is a thick cream and has that sweet smell that is so good. I just take a coin amount of the cream and apply it on my hands and face. It needs a little massage for the skin to absorb the cream completely. My skin feels soft and supple for the entire day. The results are long lasting when compared to the Baby Lotion and I am super glad that it helps.

The Bio Milk Cream comes in a simple light green colored tube. This is more convenient to use than the bottle.
